Plenilunial Elementalism

By SK on June 1, 2005 3:59 am
A magical school founded in the 350s by Maris of House Aegidius and Veprescula of House Manere, both of them of Covenant Plenilunium Album, whence the movement derives its name. It would perhaps more accurately be called "Chalycidican Elementalism." Plenilunial Elementalists use Chalycidican invocations to call upon one of twelve known elemental spirits to aid them in casting Cholaeic magic.

Niveum Pomeridianum

By SK on June 1, 2005 4:52 pm
A small hermitage-covenant up high on the moors of Ballicastra. Its elderly and depressed founders originally intended it merely as a peaceful place for them to die. Once they had prepared their final home, however, they found themselves perking up considerably, and soon began raising students together. They are currently embarked on research into life-extending corpus magics.

The Blue Book of Lem

Phantom of one of the later books of Lem
Late in the Blue Book of Lem, there is a longish section describing the islands of drowned Chalycidice in wildly imaginitative and confusing detail. Frequently mined by all of the schools of Lemmitism, it is generally not regarded as a coherent whole.

Parole; a mock feast; eggs; chin-stroking, perhaps; the cavalry; “I see the right arm can offend me! Off with it!”; objections are made; pumpkins and offal; Love and Reason and Love’s little sister; “No, it was a board!”; how it went; an apology; some nuances lost to punctuation; Perdix misses Toomi; Nakfish hits on Ishta; Calvus takes counsel with Naki; “What’s to get?”
