Caudex lamminæ glaciei

Mostly known for the spells and mentem theory that concern themselves with strengthening the ice and protecting the dreamer from the deeps, its striking approach has relegated it to the second or third tier of mentem texts, along with Fons indolis or Rationis mentis.

The God-Emperor’s Progression

By Kip Manley on November 28, 2005 8:05 pm
Please note: this calendar is based upon the assumption that the Day of Dissipation falls upon the Winter Solstice, that is, 21 December on the Gregorian calendar. Given the method which the Council of Vestran Stewards first adopted to accommodate the year’s imprecise length, this is not always the case, and may vary as much as 6 days in one direction or another. Thus, this one-for-one comparison is to be used as a rough guide only. Management apologizes for any inconvenience.
Jaak de Fleury, ladies and gentlemen.

More limericks.

By Dylan on November 29, 2005 10:52 am
Our Shotik can boast a fine sister, who shows not a chafe or a blister at the rub of the students who, lacking some prudence, do wishfully claimed to have kissed her. (even more wince-worth limericks inside!)

He's still probably a spy, but at least he's a well-spoken and conciliatory one.

Viscus vim

The infamous crudity of the garish figures and illuminations notwithstanding, this is an arid tome: “The most boring waste of time conceived by magus,” as it is described in the inaugural volume of Morgensterni.
Who am I kidding, she's the same ole' brazen, buxom, bawdy and lest we forget bitchy Ishta, but now she has a new moniker. It isn't all that original, but hey, with Tully as her former master, she's lucky it isn't some variation of adjective noun combination normally used in conjunction with diagnosed STD's.

The Calendar as Creation Myth

By CS on November 29, 2005 10:07 pm
The Holy Church Calendar consists of 18 months of 20 days, plus six High Holy Days. The calendaric cycle describes the creation of the world, and the liberation of humanity from the Theocracy. It focuses on the imperfect nature of humanity, expressed through the person of the Priest King of Vestra.
