A member of Bethelion's first graduating class. Upon his graduation to magehood, he joined Covenant Tempestatem Sedare along with his classmate, Desirus of House Cristofer. He returned to Bethelion to serve as a lecturer in 411, after his first student, [A75], had ascended to magehood.
[A53a] is a committed Derlethian and a respected member of Bethelion's Board of Governors. He has mentored two Bethelion graduates: A86, one of the "New Cosmopolitans"; and [A89/D4f], a >"New Derlethian" and one of the founders of Covenant Domus Octobris. A53a has been highly disappointed in his University students, neither of whose interpretations of Derlethianism he finds at all sympathetic or agreeable. His extreme antipathy towards Abelard, who he feels deliberately and maliciously stole the affections and loyalties of his third student [A89], was likely one of the major factors leading the Board to request Abelard to tender his resignation from Bethelion in 422.
