Derleth's first student and a member of Bethelion's first graduating class. Upon his graduation from Bethelion, Odger joined Annalum along with his classmate Vyras Loriatus, swearing the one-in-four oath to become jointly a member of Houses Cristofer and Aegidius. He has remained at Annalum ever since.
Valued by Cristofer as a diligent and responsible worker, and by Aegidius as a pious monk, Odger is proud of both of his House affiliations and has little patience for any notions of Derlethian exceptionalism—least of all for the >New Derlethian movement founded by his own filius Abelard. He has repeatedly refused invitations to join Bethelion as a lecturer, and many suspect that he only supported the formation of Derleth as an independent house at all out of filial loyalty to his parens. Behind his back, many younger Derlethians (and more than a few older ones as well) refer to him as "Odger the Codger."
