Generally recognized as one of the more talented students of Bethelion's tenth graduating class, [A89/D4f] contended throughout his apprenticeship with [C125a], [M143], and [S140] for the position of Loriat. In 419, however, he became enamoured of the dynamic new lecturer Abelard, which poisoned his relationship with his parens [A53a], and in 421, against [A53a]’s wishes and the wishes of the University’s Board, he accompanied Abelard to the Skulstorren to take part in the second rogue hunt.
Although Bethelion had promised to expell any students who disobeyed this edict, they backed down when even their obedient students refused to graduate unless it be alongside their colleagues. [A89/D4f] was therefore recognized as mage in 422, after which he remained at Bethelion to agitate for mass defection of Derlethians from their other House affiliations. He himself renounced House Aegidius and left Bethelion with Abelard to found Covenant Domus Octobris in 423.
