It is well known that a book is not considered to have been published in the Order until a copy is presented for inclusion in the library at Annalum. It is also a truism, however, that a book is not considered to have arrived in the Order until a copy is accepted for admission to the library at Antrum. Every week brings at least one new book to the covenant for consideration, and the influx is such that Antrum has created the office of Censor, whose task is to read each of the submissions, prepare summaries, and make recommendations for additions to the main library and each mage’s personal collection. This office is usually considered an onerous chore, to be performed by junior magi or even, occasionally, a Procopian, but it is not without its power and even prestige: collections of the Antrum Censor’s summaries and recommendations are copied and traded throughout the Order.
