("The Witness")
filia Prudentia, of House Cristofer
apprenticed 390; mage 405
Praeterita: 390-405
Plenilunium Album: 405-417
Antrum: 417-
Born blind, the Andarean Testifacta was apprenticed in 390 by the obsessed Cristoferean investigator Prudentia, who had spent the past decades at Praeterita, vainly attempting to unravel the mystery of the Lemmite curse. Prudentia set out from the very start to turn Testifacta into the ultimate intellego machine, in the hopes of gaining an invaluable tool in her ongoing investigation. Disturbed by her master's growing Giovannitism, Testifacta fled Praeterita shortly after her graduation to magehood in 405, taking refuge at Plenilunium Album, where she first began developing new mentem techniques and devices. In 417, her ground-breaking new theories gained her admission to Antrum. She has taught no students.
She is the developer of the use of magical crystals as a means of recording, storing, and retrieving mentem information extracted through intellego. Although her work is still highly experimental, it is of great interest to House Cristofer, which sent her to Isrillion in 421, where her devices were first used in an intra-Order investigation. Testifacta's unusual intellego training makes it difficult for her to function in social contexts; she is consequently an anti-social, reclusive, and rather unfriendly mage.
