filius Calamus Mollis, of House Cristofer
born 390; apprenticed 399; mage 414
Annalum: 399-
Born of Tyrrian peasant stock, Quentin was apprenticed by Calamus Mollis at Annalum in 399 and became a full mage member in 414. Ambitious and bright, he has been groomed from apprenticeship by his parens to serve as the public face of the New House Cristofer. In 418 Quentin served as the Cristoferean observer to the 48th Manerean Conjugation at Antrum, and in 420, he was sent to investigate reports of trouble at Covenant Mille Lacus. Although he arrived too late to prevent bloodshed at Mille Lacus, Quentin's diplomatic presence there was instrumental in putting an end to the hostilities, and probably as a result, he was chosen one year later to Isrillion to conduct the investigation and trial of the Savacion rogue Tenellus in 421. From Isrillion, he travelled to Leo Compulsus to investigate the Last Hope conspiracy and remained with the Savacions there until 424, helping to guide the subsequent establishment of House Reforms.
Like his parens, Quentin is committed to the Order-wide adoption of a regulatory Code, in the implementation of which he dreams of playing a similar role to that of Caesius, his hero and role-model. Unfortunately, while affable and talented enough in his way, Quentin really lacks the experience and the charisma necessary for the diplomatic role which has been so precipitously thrust upon him. He frequently finds himself out of his depth.
