A suggestion
Perhaps both this list and the "everyone" list should be amended to include who plays what character? I realize that we hardly need that information now, but 10 years from now, if we find ourselves reading these archives, we might appreciate the reminder.

In the context of the game (qua game?), yes; in the context of entries about the world which reference the characters and the covenant, not so much.

Yeah, that distinction was what was on my mind when I made "Game" as a separate hierarchical category from "Known World." Obviously there's going to be some overlap (a list of "characters in this game" is not quite the same thing as a list of "members of this covenant," although they may look quite similar), but I think there's probably benefit in having a place for both types of info.
distance in time and space
Yup. For those of us out in the ether too, it'd be helpful to have the names attached. I can get a better picture of the character, somehow, if I know who's playing them.
And in the future, with so many characters having been played over the years, we'll all be grateful to have the reference, I'm sure. Something like the loss of memory in Red Mars? After playing so many different lives, we may lose track of who we've been... :)
