The ruling body of House Cristofer, which convenes regularly at Annalum. Membership on the Council is extended to new magi by invitation only; consequently, the Council has been able to maintain a strict political orthodoxy through many generations. Deeply resented by many, particularly by those Cristofereans who disagree with its party line, the Council nonetheless wields tremendous power within the Order as a whole. The Council itself is a democratic body ruled by elaborate parliamentary procedure; all of its members have equal say in its decision-making process. The Council does, however, elect one of its number to serve as its First Speaker, who presides over the council's procedure and acts as its spokesman and representative to the rest of the Order. The current First Speaker of the Cristoferean Council is Festinatio Diligens, who resides at Annalum.
