Manus Purpureus

I thought I'd open a forum discussion specific to the Qunitus Opacus spin-off covenant.

At the moment, the definite cast looks like:
Ferramenta Subtilior
Nemo
There are definitely others, at least one more (and I guess two) from Quintus Opacus, plus a few other Lemmites from other covenants who are converted by Ferramenta's Opacan Manifesto. Plus, gradually they will gain non-Lemmite adjuncts (although it may be hard to tell at first who is a Manus adjunct, and who is a Calvus-Circumsessor adjunct).

Also, Chirothecarum Caesiarum will be a major advocate for Ferramenta's Opacan Manifesto, and for Order tolerance for Manu Purpureus, since he hopes to finally heal the rift between the Order and Opacus, and to finally earn a seat on the Christopherian High Council.

Manus Cyaneus?

I realize “Purpureus” is the generally accepted color-name, but I think there’s some PR mileage outside the House of Lem in signalling something of a break with Lemmish business as usual: yes, this is a color covenant, yes, it’s far along in the Lemmish scheme of things, but it isn’t your usual “purple” covenant, darn it! It’s indigo!

And again: that 15-year-old death-metaller æsthetic will be useful in attracting Savacions. I’m only half-joking...

Additional Manus Opacan: Morde Canem, or “bite-the-dog,” who I’m now thinking is maybe L113a, the yellow-hatter who joined up after the Nonæ Fidelitatis incident. —There’s fishy stuff elsewhere than just the Dawn; Opacan means and methods must be taken to the fight, wherever it is; must gain a broader acceptance in the Order, else the Order is lost.

Saying farewell to a Circulan
I agree with sending L113a. I had been pondering which of the two L113a or L130 should be the religious head of the Opacans. This clears it up and leaves the image of Quintus Opacus having a musical priest(ess) still. This thought spinning off of Kip's comments in another thread about the views of the Opacans.

Also this leaves a Circulan at both covenants which helps if we decide to go with one of Sarah's ideas of some portion of the warring Circulans deciding killing each other is no longer in vogue, but being an Opacan surely is.
