Apprenticed by the incoherent auram specialist Aldonzo de Ventria at Covenant Isrillion in 390, she was no more able to comprehend her master than anyone else is, and consequently she made no progress at all for the first six years of her apprenticeship. In 396, her grandparens Maris, founder of the Plenilunial Elementalist School, insisted that Aldonzo allow her to study instead under her tutelage at Hart's Desire, where she finally began learning.
Upon her graduation to magehood in 413, at Maris' insistence, she joined Hart's Desire's sister covenant Whitestone, but she did not care for it there, and she returned to Hart's Desire after Maris' death three years later.
Mormyr is a shape-changing specialist with a particular affinity for the fish form. She is also a strong writer with a knack for explaining the deeper arcana of Plenilunial Elementalism to those unschooled in the movement. She is one of the young Elementalists responsible for Antrum's recent gradual-yet-growing acceptance of the Plenilunial Elementalist Movement as a whole, and in 421, she became the first Plenilunial Elementalist ever to be accepted at that covenant, although the Antrumites rather wish she would spend more time writing, and less time exploring the underwater sections of their magical cave system.
