Raised at the monastic Melian Covenant of St. Cyrynthia, in 421 she chose to leave the covenant to see a bit of the world outside and stayed for a time at Covenant Isrillion as an honored guest. Unfortunately, her stay at Isrillion coincided with the covenant's discovery that one of their members was a rogue hunted by House Savacion. Remaining at Isrillion throughout the investigation and trial of Tenellus, she grew close to the accused, and after her acquittal chose to accompany her to Annalum later in 421.
Yva has taken on the role of Caleth's confidante and spiritual advisor. The magi of Annalum have waived the usual Cristoferean requirement for membership on her behalf and have not required her to swear the one-in-four oath.
