I just deleted the accounts of our visiting spammers. I also changed a few permissions around, so we shouldn't see *that* again.

Weirdly, though, I don't seem to be able to clear the spam comments from the "Recent Comments" block in the sidebar. Those comments no longer really exist -- if you click on them, you'll see that they're not really there anymore -- but they're still showing up in the sidebar. I know neither why this is happening nor how to fix it, but I'll get to work on trying to find out.

In the meantime, you can still get an accurate list of recent comments if you use on the "recent comments" link in the *Navigation* menu at the top of the sidebar. Why is that one still working properly when the other is not? Hell, don't ask *me.*
