A member of Bethelion's fifth graduating class, as a student he aided that year's Loriat, [T80a], in constructing a portal connecting Bethelion with the library at Annalum. With the rest of his class, he joined Flos Crastinus upon his ascension to magehood in 407, and remained with them for nine years. In 416, however, he found himself so in sympathy with one of the students he had found that he was unwilling to hand her over to the University for training, and instead chose to settle down as a hermit in the An Valley to see to her training personally.
