The Use of Others’ Fruits
written by Salebra, filia Stiria, of House Cristofér, CSPM
Manuscript completed 418, seven complete copies known: Papilio Æstivus [orig.], Fenestra Arcadiæ [2], Whitestone, Annalum, Antrum, Bethelion. Chapter “Alea ossium” widely distributed in quire form and excerpted in most recent number of Morgensterni. Subsection “de effodientis tuberium atrorum” selected for inclusion in fifth Coetum of Annalum. Antrum’s copy irregular sized 10 inches by 11, wood boards wrapped in leather, 316 pages linen stock, black ink, round-letter “Ulderlinden” calligraphy, simple wash illumination. —Largely dismissed as a sketchy guide to the etiquette and politics of a dizzying array of færie courts, in the context of negotiating for vis and safe passage through regio, surprise at its inclusion in the prestigious Coetum has prompted a re-examination. Ususfructus proves as well a pragmatic text on the location, identification, and extraction of all manner of vis (beyond the herbam to be gleaned from the elusive black truffle); a text of great value to all magi. Antrum’s copy has simple wash illuminations by that hand which enlivened pro illis ita ignavis, but the loose (though amusing) stylings do not aid in keeping track of a surfeit of all-too-similar and similarly unpronounceable names and titles. The original color illuminations by the author are said to rectify this somewhat. —notes compiled by Adrien filia Allisen of House Manere, Censor Antri

Perdix’ copy.
Much smaller, of course, and unilluminated, though I imagine he made a number of cryptic marginal notations. —I have no clue how long Annalum’s been putting out editions of the Coetum (the Gathering, geddit?), but since the fifth’s forthcoming, Nemus Animæ pretty much has an earlier edition; I presume fourth.
Yes. I still need to update all those mage-names.
Tour guide to the fay realms?
It's like lonely planet for the order.
Adrien's all business.
But I like the format. Very professional. Wonder what he or she thinks of the review of Allisen's text.
