Two Purges: 400-406
The relative peace of the 390s came to an end at the start of the fifth century with two purges: one conducted against the Order by mundane authority, and the other by a segment of the Order itself. The events, occurring so close together, led to fears that the fifth century might have ushered in a less peaceful era for the Order as a whole.
