Set in the covenant of Nemus Animae (founded 425), which is located in the Wide Valley region of Gaetan, this game focuses on the efforts of six mages to build up their new covenant in very foreign territory. Through an alliance with the local prince, the mages have been able to quickly gain substantial temporal power, but they have also gained powerful enemies.

Written on the cheapest stock Annalum has, the one the kitchen staff uses to write down grocery lists comes a missive by an Annalum pigeon. The handwritting is clearly skilled but shaky and in parts may take time to decipher.
